Our Story in 2 Sentences

Owner Lena Marsh started Pretty Petals out of her home studio in 2014 after a decade of designing for other people’s shops and finally deciding she’d rather do it her way. In 2026, the shop runs out of a sunny studio on Maple Street, sources from three local growers, and has delivered over 14,000 arrangements — most of them same-day.

Signature Collections

Every arrangement we make starts with what’s actually fresh and beautiful that week — not what’s been sitting in a warehouse. Two favorites that customers request by name:

• The Sunday Garden — a relaxed, garden-style mix of lisianthus, garden roses, and trailing eucalyptus. The one people photograph before they give it away.
• The Golden Hour — warm yellows, creamy whites, and soft peach tones. Ranunculus-heavy, always stunning. Our best seller for birthdays and “just because” moments.

Beyond those two, we do seasonal collections that rotate with what the growers bring us. Spring means poppies and sweet peas. Fall means dahlias and deep burgundy. We don’t force flowers out of season — you can taste the difference, and so can you.

Why Local Matters

Pretty Petals sources from Greenfield Family Farm 12 miles north, Blue Stem Growers just outside of town, and a small urban flower garden that supplies herbs, mint, and fragrant lavender year-round. When we say local, we mean we know the farmers’ names, we visit in spring to see what’s coming, and we can tell you exactly how many days ago those stems were cut.

That’s not marketing. That’s just how flowers work. Fresher stems last longer in your home — sometimes up to 10 days with proper care. We always include a care card.

Delivery Coverage

We deliver same-day within a 20-mile radius — including downtown, the university district, Riverside, and surrounding neighborhoods. Orders placed before noon go out that afternoon. Orders placed before 3 p.m. may qualify for evening delivery depending on your area.
